During the construction of the Brașov main sewerage line, the excavation was carried out with a shield underneath the railway and led to an underground void with a diameter approximately 20cm larger than the outer diameter of the sewer made of prefabricated concrete elements.
To avoid settlements, the gap was filled with injection material in the Geopur® system.
During the execution of the injection works, specific topographic monitoring works were carried out for possible settlements of the railway lines. No settlements were found and as a result the railway traffic was not disturbed.
