Water infiltrations sometimes occur in the basements of old or historic buildings due to the lack of waterproofing works, outdated technology and materials, the deterioration over time of gutters and downspouts that thus lead rainwater to the base of the buildings, washing away the foundations over time, changes in the flow regime of groundwater determined by natural or anthropogenic factors (landslides, land subsidence, construction of new buildings, etc.)
By injecting with Geopur type bicomponent polyurethane resin, the gaps resulting from the activity of groundwater and/or rainwater are filled and the voids in the stone foundations on which these buildings are built are sealed.
